ISO FDIS 14065 Consultation Closes

The Draft International Standard (DIS) Consultation for the revision of ISO 14065 closes today (1 April 2020).

The current version of ISO 14065 contains general principles and requirements for the competence, consistent operation and impartiality of bodies performing validation/verification as conformity assessment activities for the purpose of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) assertions.

It has been revised to embrace the validation and verification of environmental information, in all its many forms including water footprints and assurance of environmental reports.

Additionally, it is compatible with ISO/IEC 17029:2019, which was published earlier last year to provide a new form of recognition for validation and verification activities.
