Latest dates for ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 9001:2015

It has been confirmed that the Final Draft International Standards (FDIS) are nearly here,  ISO 14001:2015 FDIS is expected to be available in English from National Standards Bodies on 2 July 2015.

Additionally for those organisations with a Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001:2015 FDIS is expected to be available a few days later on 9 July 2015.

Some National Standards Bodies are offering Advanced Access packages, which will comprise a copy of the FDIS and guaranteed delivery of the final standard once it is published.

It is not anticipated that there will not be any technical changes taking place between FDIS and the final standard, so now is the ideal time to obtain the FDIS to begin your preparation for transition to the new 2015 International Standards.

Readers of this site may wish to refer to an earlier post: Final IAF Guidance on the transition to ISO 14001:2015 referencing the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) guidance to certification bodies and certified clients.

I will cover more on the preparation steps towards a smooth and successful transition in later posts.
