As an update to my earlier blog “New edition of ISO/IEC 17021 published”, a development by ISO has led to a free tutorial on the improved second edition of ISO/IEC 17021.
As you may know, the International Standard sets new requirements for the auditing of management systems and for auditor competence is available below. The purpose of ISO/IEC 17021:2011 is to increase the value of management system certification to public and private sector organizations worldwide.
The online tutorial has been made available by the ISO Committee on conformity assessment, (ISO/CASCO), which was developed by Randy Dougherty and Alister Dalrymple, the two leaders of the working group responsible for the standard.
