Need the latest guidance on how to notify your compliance with the ESOS Regulation…
Then this is the right place..
In their second newsletter of 2019, the Environment Agencies for the UK, namely, the Environment Agency (England), Natural Resources Wales, Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Northern Ireland Environment Agency, have covered the availability of the Notification System for Phase 2.
The new notification system for Phase 2 of ESOS is, now, available. This system replaces the existing Phase 1 notification system, which is closed.
The Phase 2 notification process is very similar to the Phase 1 system with two significant changes over the earlier version:
- If you wish to notify that you “Do Not Qualify” (DNQ) for ESOS, then you can do this using the new Phase 2 Notification System as the DNQ option is now built-in rather than a separate system.
- There is now an option to upload a list of all the organisations in your participant group, either as a standard template (downloadable from the notification system) or in any other format, such as group structure chart.
The Phase 2 notification system is available here
If for any reason, you still need to make a Phase 1 Notification, you are advised to contact the ESOS helpdesk at the Environment Agency.
If your organization is obligated under these new Regulations then you may want to download the latest ESOS Newsletter (February 2019 – Issue 2) can be downloaded here
