The United Kingdom Office for National Statistics (ONS) has issued a survey on the Low Carbon & Renewable Energy Economy.
This annual survey is designed to collect financial and employment information about the Green Economy and aims to capture information on how business interact with it.
This information will be used to support the significant demand from UK Government & Government departments within Devolved Administrations to understand the resources devoted to the Low Carbon & Renewable Energy Economy in the UK.
The Survey is broken down into four Sections, namely:
- The Reporting Period
- Low Carbon & Renewable Energy Sectors
- Turnover, imports, exports, employment, capital assets and Research & Development
- Feedback and Contact Details
As it is made clear on the survey form, businesses are required by law to complete their return with penalties for late or no submission that may be made under Section 4 of the Statistics of Trade Act 1947. My date of return of the completed questionnaire is 18 April 2019.
If like me, you have received this survey, please take the time to complete it as it will help to improve the resourcing of Government support for the Low Carbon & Renewable Energy Economy.
