Every Environmentalist knows that the identification of invasive non-native species is an essential part of invasive species management. However, it can be difficult for all but a full trained and qualified ecologist to identify key invasive species.

It is often left to a non-ecology qualified Environmental Manager or site supervisor to carry out the initial identification of the presence of invasive species.

The Non-Native Species Secretariat (NNSS) has developed individual Identification Sheets to provide identification assistance.

The Identification Sheets can be freely downloaded, printed, used for stakeholder engagement and linked to from external websites.

The Identification Sheets can be accessed from the common name list of invasive species at http://bit.ly/1hhfbdy below or by selecting from the list by scientific name at http://bit.ly/1eGePQy.
