In an earlier post HSE to charge for enforcement costs, I reported that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) was planning to roll out its Fee for Intervention (FFI) scheme in April 2012.
A bulletin published on the HSE’s website on 15 March 2012 indicates that the FFI scheme will not, now, be introduced in April 2012 and will instead likely be implemented in October 2012.
The HSE states in the Bulletin that the additional time will enable the regulator to publish guidance prior to implementation and work with businesses to improve their understanding of the scheme.
