Type I Eco-labels are considered to be “best-in-class” based on the use of strict environmental standards and the process that they must undergo through independently third-party certification to ensure that an Eco-label Product” is environmentally friendly and has environmental integrity in its claims.

There will be activities, promotions, and education in almost every country that has Eco-Label products and services during the week leading up to and including World Ecolabel Day to bring awareness to the environmental integrity of Type I Ecolabels.
